We’re delighted that Rebecca Peters has joined Shine Workplace Wellbeing. With a background in health and wellbeing research and an MSc in Occupational and Business Psychology, she will lead our soon-to-launch Workplace Mental Health Awareness workshops, as well as managing certain client projects.  Rebecca is passionate about improving health and wellbeing within the context of the workplace, taking an evidence based approach to research and practice. “Supporting health and wellbeing at work benefits both the individual and the organisation and has a strong business case. Happy and healthy employees are more productive, better productivity leads to more profits and can influence culture and creativity within an organisation…everyone benefits!” She has recently spearheaded the development of a Return to Work Toolkit alongside a team of researchers and practitioners. The toolkit – endorsed by the Department of Work and Pensions – supports employers and employees to manage the return to work process, following sickness absence due to mental ill health. This impressive resource toolkit is now live and can be accessed at www.returntoworkmh.co.uk.
