Coping with Seasonal Affective Disorder

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a real and treatable condition. Most commonly occurring during the colder and darker winter months, it is not merely a case of the “winter blues,” but more severe than that – it is a type of depression that comes and goes in a seasonal pattern. While the exact cause is unknown, in this session, we will explore common symptoms and possible causes, certain risk factors and coping strategies, as well as how businesses can be more aware of staff that are affected – and how they can support them.
